active-My boyfriend gave me a ring and now he is my fiancee.passive- The ring was given to the jeweller to be sized.
Active-At the wedding the groom gave a beautiful diamond ring to the bride.Passive- A beautiful diamond ring was given to the bride by the groom at the wedding.
