ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE

Write two sentences using the word steal. 

Use the active voice for the first sentence, and the passive voice for the second.

Active - Thieves will steal anything left in the open.
Passive - Money may be stolen from the Poppy Drive Fund, if left out in the open.

Active:My friend stole my pencil.

Passive: My friend' pencil was stolen by someone else.

Active: No one knows who stole Paul's camcorder on Saturday night.
Passive: Paul's camcorder was stolen on Saturday night.
