The squeamish girl manipulated her friends to not go in the haunted house on Halloween.
A good effort on the sentence, Doris. But I would try to avoid splitting the infinitive "to not go" by putting the "not" in front of the "to," or change the construction altogether:
The squeamish girl manipulated her friends to avoid going in the haunted house on Halloween.
