SENTENCE COMBINATION
Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is
an important writing skill. There are many ways to do this. Try to combine the following three sentences.
Sentence 1: We went to the mall on Saturday so that the children could see Santa.
Sentence 2: There was a parade through the mall in honour of Santa’s arrival.
Sentence 3: By the time we got there, the mall was very crowded.
