AFFIXES
The word stem -dict- (meaning say or speak) occurs in many words. Add an affix (either a prefix or a suffix) to this stem to make another word. Each participant should add a different word to the list.

1520–30; < Latin addictus assigned, surrendered (past participle of addīcere, equivalent to ad- ad- + dic- (variant stem of dīcere to fix, determine) + -tus past participle suffix)
