Feb. 14 - Valentine's Day - expressing your love with cards, candy or flowers. The first Valentine's card was sent by St. Valentine himself.
Feb. 17. Family Day - Started in Alberta, to promote family virtues and time. It was introduced by then Premier Don Getty. Now other provinces have adopted the holiday.
